Some info about the VW history

VW is always about quality

VW, we’ve all heard of this car company. An absolutely wonderful vehicle manufacturer. This business has lots of vehicles both ingenious and classic. For example the classic VW Beetle. This was the first automobile to come off of their manufacturing line. This model is still around today, however its a more newer shape.

VW was started in the year 1937. Intriguingly what bought this company about had a little something to do with a certain Hitler with his Nazi movement. Automobile s in Germany were very luxurious and what goes with posh is a high price tag. This meant they were always purchased by those who could afford it. What Hitler asked for was a vehicle to be produced that was of a fairly simple budget design and able to carry 2 adults and two kids in some kind of safety and comfort. This automobile is certainly a VW classic and is very collectible with so many clubs and sites attributing to the Beetle. Even though this kind of iconic car bought VW plenty of success in 1973 the business was running into trouble, their type 3 and type 4 vehicles they had released were bought in much lesser units than the Beetle which to suffered massive declines in purchaser. Fortunately VW were the owners of Audi, who of course manufactured water cooled engines and assisted in paving the route for the massive success that VW was now set to get.

We welcomed the Passatt in late 1973, basically a fast back version of the Audi 80. Soon to follow was the Scirrocco in 74. This vehicle was based on the soon to come Golf. The Golf was the pinnacle of VW. This car was to be one of the best cars of all time. It had wonderful Italian style for looks and of course simply superb reliability and build quality from the Germans. This vehicle has been in existence for 38 years and is still a favourite amongst both motorists and enthusiasts. In the late 1990’s VW then acquired three hyper car manufactures, those being Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini. It was huge for them and they wasted no time. Audi quickly released a smaller Lamborghini range for example the Gallardo’s. Bentley gained heights with it’s Continental range, this bought record revenues for Bentley at 10000. So for Bugatti, well it is all about the incredible Veyron with its record smashing top speed of 254 miles per hour.

If you look at Volks Wagen’s passed, it really is an interesting example with plenty of wonderful cars makes and models flying about. A automobile manufacturer with all this in its portfolio certainly does point out to us that they’re a super choice to buy from. Yes they are not the cheapest but even second hand vehicles that have the VW logo are known to be one of the most reliable buys.
